Sewing Class
The students are learning basic sewing skills while making over the shoulder water bottle bags as teacher appreciation gifts. They need to make 3 each for the 24 staff. They have chosen to create placemats next to sell at the Hopkins Saturday market. Elementary school has minimal fees. However, high school costs $750 a year for fees, books and uniforms. They hope to help their families defray the expense.
